What is hard water?
Hard water that has heavy mineral contents. It contains a high amount of calcium and magnesium ions. High amounts of calcium and magnesium ions make water hard. Hence these both ions are also referred to as “Hardness Agent”.
World wide water hardness scale recognizes 4 water hardness classes, depending upon the concentration and the mineral.
